Color Block Brightness 2

Ever have those days where you try to get dressed and you hate everything?  This was one of those days.  I feel like color-blocking is an easy way to get dressed in a hurry and still look put together without trying all that hard.  Trying to mix prints can be hard even with plenty of time and options, so I don’t even bother when in a rush.  Different blocks of color can look intentional even if they aren’t making getting dressed in a hurry much easier.

I needed an outfit that would be casual but would look good with a pair of heels for dinner too.  I normally wouldn’t wear these two colors together cause they’re insanely bright but I had the pink pants on and this was the first shirt I grabbed that wouldn’t completely clash.  I added the white tank because I wasn’t going for the visible bra look even though it would have looked better with out it.

What I think really pulled the outfit together though was the accessories.  By keeping both pairs of shoes as neutral as possible they let the top and pants make a statement.  I went with the gold jewelry because both pairs of shoes had a touch of gold and I didn’t want to add any new colors.
