Casual Night Out

So the thing about Huntington Beach is that it is always casual.  It is perfectly acceptable to wear a bathing suit, tank top and a pair of cut-offs every single day of the year except for the 10 or so days where it is cold enough to need jeans and a sweater.  It gets a little colder at night in the winter so occasionally you’ll need a jacket and scarf too, but for the most part, the weather is great.  This consistent beach weather makes it unnecessary to dress up ever so if you go downtown on a Friday/Saturday night it’s really entertaining to see what some people will wear, especially with the permanent flood of tourists and their crazy idea of fashion (can you say crocs?).  But anyways, even though I don’t ever have to get out of my pajamas I happen to like to dress up and so to all of my friends.

We had gone to reverse happy hour at this Japanese restaurant right across from the beach and we had planned for a super low-key night.  Of course no night ever goes as planned so we ended up being entertained by a bunch of people that just don’t know when to call it a night.  But of course we ended up having a blast because we have the amazing ability to be very easily entertained each other which seems to be a lost art.
